Welcome to the CEC Masterlist! Here you will find a guide to help you navigate through the whole of HoneyWorks' Confession Executive Committee Series!

What is the Confession Executive Committee series?

The Confession Executive Committee series is a series of songs and PVs produced by the Vocaloid production group HoneyWorks. The group's songs are produced by Gom and shito, with illustrations by Yamako, Mogelatte, and Rocoru. The CEC series is split into 2 parts: the Love Series, and the Idol Series. The Love Series follows the romantic relationships between students of Sakuragaoka, while the Idol Series follows the activities of idols working their way up in the industry. The Love Series follows the third years and the first years of Sakuragaoka.
The Idol Series is set after the third years have graduated and the first years become second years, meaning the main characters of the Idol Series are the new first years at Sakuragaoka.
Various other HoneyWorks songs seem to be set in the same universe as the CEC series, as we can see from the uniforms worn by characters, or cameos of certain characters in some PVs.
There is some overlap between the Love Series and Idol Series through siblings [Sena & Mona, Shibaken & Aizou] and love interests [Koudai & Juri], however this guide will take you through each series separately to make things easier to understand.A mobile rhythm game featuring songs and characters from the Confession Executive Committee series was released on November 18th 2020. Information can be found on the official website and twitter for the game.

Gamushara

Recklessness

The PV follows Nagisa's perspective as he goes through various struggles and tries his best to reach the finish line. Hiyori can be seen in a couple of scenes running with him and cheering him on. Due to this, it can be assumed that this is set during middle school, before Hiyori moves to Tokyo.

Oshi★Goto

Full Throttle 4

TIME LINE

An in-universe Full Throttle 4 song. This was the first FT4 song that was released.

GOOD BYE

Following YUI's point of view, we see his relationship with his grandfather from his childhood up until the present.
The original vocaloid release of this song can be found here

LOVE ANTHEM

The PV follows the perspective of Full Throttle 4's leader and DJ, IV. Set during their middle school years, we see that IV was in the hospital with some sort of illness for a while prior to FT4's debut. We can see that the five of them had already started making music together at the time, and IV is just desperate to keep living and conintue making music with them.
A version of this song sung by YUI and RIO's seiyuu can be found here.

FAKE STAR

Content warnings: violence, bullying, child abuse
We follow DAI's childhood, seeing the way he was abused by his parents and bullied at school, to how he first met MEGU. His friendship with MEGU gives him the strength he needs to finally fight back against his abusers.
A version of this song sung by YUI and RIO's seiyuu can be found here.

Dear LAYLA

A look into MEGU's childhood and the importance of his dog Layla to him and the rest of FT4. Layla was there throughout all the important moments of MEGU's life and was very loved by all the members of FT4. We see the way he was extorted for money due to coming from a well off family, his first encounter with DAI [also seen in FAKE STAR], and the growth of FT4 as a unit that started out dancing on the streets and before debuting on the stage. I'd like to think that she lived a full life and passed away peacefully.

TO FAMILY

Content warnings: death, suicide
The story of RIO and his brother's family. RIO was raised by his brother and has always lived with him. Some time after FT4's debut, RIO's brother passes away from what can be assumed to be a construction accident. Soon after, his sister-in-law commits suicide out of grief, leading to RIO taking in his niece and raising her himself. He cares for his niece immensely, and does everything he can to make her happy.

WELCOME SICKS

Full Throttle4's first full unit song. We see FT4's activities together as an idol group both on and off the stage. We start to see some of the relationship dynamics in the group, as well as some flashbacks to the past. It seems to be implied that YUI was once a flirt (?) and perhaps had some conflict with MEGU. The end of the PV brings us back to the events of LOVE ANTHEM and we see that IV may not have fully recovered from his illness.
This is the only song in which the 4 main members of the group [YUI, RIO, DAI, MEGU] all sing.
